Tell us a bit about yourself.
I'm from Mexico City, and I've been working as a programmer since I graduated from a computational systems engineering program. I've always been interested in computers, and I'm very passionate about technology, learning and programming languages, and generally trying to figure out how everything works. As a result, I'm very involved in the industry.
What were you looking for in your next job opportunity?
I was looking for a more challenging position that would allow me to work for an international company. Where we would be able to solve non-trivial problems in a community-centered setting. Basically, somewhere where the community can benefit from the technology.
How did you find Flatworld?
I discovered Flatworld through Facebook ads. I thought the advertisement was very clever and funny. I saw them all the time, and one day I thought, 'Why not? Perhaps I can figure out what it is and why it works.' And, thankfully, I'm here.
How would you describe your experience with Flatworld?
Flarworld has been a fantastic experience for me. I will say that I believe they take your practical experience into account more than just the information on your resume.
What makes the opportunity at Clipboard Health a great fit for you?
Their work values and style really struck a chord with me. I'm thrilled to be working for a company that values technology. Not only does it consider implementation, but it also considers our contribution as individuals, not just as employees. In CBH, you have the opportunity to be more than just a member.
Would you recommend us to a friend? What would be your number one selling point?
I would totally recommend Flatworld, not just to my friends, even to my enemy (just kidding). The thing I liked best about Flatworld was the process in general, because you really have a fair chance to participate in the process, and you don't have to go through a human filter who could be biased against you.
